Dot the dog had a clock on top of a box. Every hour, it made a knock. The clock was not made to knock. Dot and Sam stopped to inspect it.

A small rock sat in the box. When the clock hand moved, the box gave a hop. The rock hit the box with a knock. Dot took the rock out.

At the next hour, the clock went tick-tock with no knock. The odd clock case was solved.
